The festive season is upon us and it is time to eat, drink and be merry.
In the spirit of the silly season, this selection is a celebration of the revered union of cheese and wine (&co). We are upping the aperitif ante with four cheeses that are cured or bathed in alcohol during the maturation process.
Drunken Cheeses are dramatic, intense and really highlight how well these two staples go together. Like drunk people, they can be a little loud and audacious, so this selection is not for the faint hearted, but each cheese is delicious and memorable in its own way.

Pear & Whisky Mini Jam for Cheese
Peach, Rosemary & Brandy Jam for Cheese
Organic Muscatels on Vine
*Blackberries are not included, but if serving fresh fruit, dark summer berries, ripe pear or black grapes are a good choice with these cheeses. This makes a great dessert cheese plate, or an ideal supper on Christmas night at the end of your festive feast. All of the cheeses will last 2-3 weeks if stored correctly.
