We're delighted to invite you to join us for lunch and dinner as we return to a gentle service this year.

We offer just 16 seats on our charming verandah and 8 seats in our Dining Room.

Our small menus are carefully designed to highlight our top shelf cheeses, along with seasonal ingredients and homestyle cooking. Our Wine List features a broad selection of excellent bottles from Australia and abroad.

Our Lunch Menu is a short list of the things we love to eat. The menu changes weekly, guided by the seasons, and inspired by the cheeses and ingredients passing through the store. We'll typically prepare a soup and a salad each day, with occasional sandwiches, pastas or curries popping up on the menu from time to time. The Ploughman's Lunch is a regular feature; highlighting our favourite cheeses and accoutrement, the perfect match for a glass of wine.

We make everything fresh with a couple of pairs of hands in a tiny kitchen every day, so once things are gone, they’re gone. We don't currently offer a takeaway menu, but most of the ingredients we use are available on our shelves to purchase and recreate our dishes at home.

We welcome walk-ins at lunch time but reservations are recommended for groups of 4+ as space is limited.

Join us for a casual evening of cheese and wine.

Our evening menu features simple cheese and charcuterie plates, perfect for sharing along with a glass of wine (or two!).

Or, leave it to us and enjoy our 'feed-me' style Tasting Menu, which features a few small plates of cheese, cured meats and smoked fish, followed by something more substantial and a dessert. We can recommend wines to match, or you can choose from our wine list or select a special bottle from the cellar.



On Saturday nights, we'll host regular comparitive tasting events. Each month, we'll focus on our favourite little luxuries [think French cheese, fine caviar, balsamic vinegar], and host a dinner highlighting these ingredients with matching wines. You'll taste the ingredients on their own, comparing and contrasting their nuances and learning their storied histories, then we'll prepare a few dishes with the ingredient and finish with dessert.

Reservations are essential for Saturday nights.

Our Wine List showcases a collection of our favourite bottles from Australia and abroad.

Our Short List features 20 bottles selected seasonally, available by the glass, carafe or bottle.

Our Cellar List features 180+ bottles from our underground cellar. The list is heavily dominated by Australian reds from the past 20 years, with a smattering of European influence. The majority of these bottles are singles only, so certain bottles will be struck. A new list will be published every six months.


We welcome reservations by phone or text to 0404 589 735. Please include your name, preferred date and time, and number of guests in your party. Reservations are not confirmed until you have received a response.

Lunch is casual and walk ins are welcome. Reservations are recommended for groups of 4+ given our small space.

Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins will be accommodated where possible.

The Dining Room can be reserved for a single group of 8, otherwise is treated as a communal table. Groups larger than 8 people can only be accommodated in a private event with exclusive use of the venue.
