Le Conquerant Camembert
Place of Origin | Normandy, France |
Milk Type | Cow's Milk |
Style | Bloomy Rind | Camembert |
Wine Pairing |
Chablis or Pinot Noir (we like Yabby Lake Vineyard Pinot from the Mornington Peninsula). Also works well with a not-too-sweet cider. |
Tasting Notes | A gutsy and intense Normandy Camembert; full of earthy character and brassica notes with a fairly pungent aroma. Not for the faint hearted but a truly exceptional cheese; an icon for a reason. Best eaten at room temperature. |
Ordering cheese online |
Fine cheese is highly perishable and seasonal, so buying person when possible is best. Read our buying guide here for tips from our cheesemonger. When ordering online, sizes are approximate for cheeses cut from the wheel. As such, prices may differ slightly from purchasing in store. If the cheese you have ordered is not available or not in peak condition, our cheesemonger will be in touch to arrange a suitable substitute. You can also call the store on 4655 4336 prior to placing an order for guidance from our team. |

We deliver cheese using insulated boxes sent via express post. We can deliver to metro areas in NSW, VIC & QLD.
