[Kit] Tomato Tart w Cawdor Curd
A simple but show-stopping addition to your Christmas feast. Perfect for your vegetarian guests as a main event, or an excellent side for everyone. We recommend one tart for 4-6 people as a main, or for 8-10 people as a side. I also love this as a supper option for Christmas Eve or Boxing Day; it only takes a few minutes to throw in the oven and is a truly delicious and satisfying meal.
This is a kit or ingredient pack and requires preparation and 40 minutes of cooking in the oven. You can cook to about 80% ahead of time, then finish off in the oven just before serving, especially if you are taking it to someone else's house.

Goldstreet Cawdor Curd*
A unique curd style cheese made with quality Jersey Cow's Milk from Camden Valley Dairy in Cawdor, by Goldstreet Dairy in Marrickville. The cheese has a soft creamy texture and distinctive tart flavour that works beautifully with the rich pastry and sweet roasted tomatoes. You will only use a few spoons on the tart, so you will have leftover Cawdor Curd that will last a few weeks in the fridge. You can use it with crudités, on toast with smoked salmon or avocado, or mixed with honey on a crumpet.
