Pre-order your Christmas Ham for the festive season. Pay a deposit now to secure your order, then attend our Christmas Ham Night on Thursday 19th December to collect. 

Please carefully read all the information below before placing your order. 

An important note:
We've been busy quality testing your Christmas Hams and I've decided to make a switch from Barossa Hams to Murray River Smokehouse this year. Murray River use exclusively free range pork with no synthetic preservatives, additives or nitrates. They taste great and align with our personal and business ethics. Please note that the free range hams are typically smaller than Barossa hams. A half leg will weigh roughly 3.5-4kg (compared to 5-6kg from last Barossa last year) while a whole ham will weigh approx. 6.5-7.5kg. We'd recommend a half leg for couples or small families, and a whole leg for any family gatherings of 8+. The hams are definitely smaller but in my opinion a nice elegant size for a whole ham. 

MURRAY RIVER SMOKEHOUSE FREE RANGE + PRESERVATIVE FREE HAM
Premium Australian grown free range Pork Leg, trimmed and cured using the Murray River Smokehouse unique cure recipe and then slowly hot smoked over Australian Hard Wood in their traditional open flame smoke house. This ham displays the delicate flavour that comes from using only the best quality free range pork. 

The ham is sold smoked and ready to eat, or ready to glaze and bake if you choose.

Photo One shows a 5kg half ham glazed with our Christmas Ham Glazing Kit  and baked for around 45 minutes. The ham is not sold glazed and the glazing kit is sold seperately. The photo is indicative only. 

Photos Two shows the ham as supplied. It is ready to enjoy cold if you choose not to glaze; no further cooking is required.

THE TERMS
To place a pre-order, you will need to pay a deposit of either $75 for a half ham or $125 for a whole ham. Your order is not confirmed until a deposit is paid.

The final price of your ham will be determined by the actual weight of your selection. This will be determined at the time of processing your order. Once the final price has been calculated, we will deduct your deposit paid and settle payment of the balance prior to collection or delivery.

For example, if you have ordered a Half Free Range Leg Ham @ $34.50/kg and the actual weight of your allocated ham is 3.5kg, the final price of your ham will be $120.75 Your $75 deposit will be deducted leaving a payable balance of $45.75. This balance is due upon collection or prior to delivery. Your deposit is non-refundable so please consider your pre-order carefully.

When you place a pre-order, we are ordering and holding stock especially for you. We understand plans can change, but when dealing with perishable produce it is not always possible to make last minute changes or cancellations to orders. Please consider possible changing circumstances before confirming your order. 

COLLECTION:
Thursday 19 December 5pm-8pm
We'll be open late on Thursday 18th December and this is the best time to collect your ham. You'll be able to select your own leg from the cool room, so you can choose a size and end to your liking.

If you need to collect your ham earlier than the 19th, please make a note in the checkout and we can make arrangements from the 1st of December. If you need to collect your ham later than the 19th, please note your options in terms of size and end (for half hams) will be more limited as most of the hams will go on the 19th. We can't store your ham until Christmas Eve due to our very small space, so please make arrangements to collect by the 21st at the latest so we can make space for our cheese deliveries!
